Neuroscape Diagnostics is committed to providing neurodivergent affirming care. Our approach is centered on understanding and respecting the diverse needs of each individual we serve, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Insurance/Fees

Our office does not take insurance directly, which means you will need to pay for your visit on the day of your appointment. We are considered out-of-network providers.

If your insurance plan covers out-of-network care, you may be able to get some of your money back. We’ll give you a superbill which you can choose to send to your insurance company, but we do not send the bill to them for you.

If you want to use your out-of-network benefits, it’s a good idea to call your insurance company before you book your visit. Here are some good questions to ask them:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health visits or testing?

  • Do I have an out-of-network deductible (the amount you pay before insurance helps)? Have I met it yet?

  • What is the “usual and customary” fee you use for these services?

They may also ask for special CPT codes to understand what service you got. Here are some common ones for:

  •  Neuropsychological (CPT 96116, 96132, 96133, 93136, 96137)

  • Psychological (CPT 90791, 96130, 96131, 96136, 96137)

Please note that insurers typically do not cover evaluations for learning disorders/disabilities or academic concerns.

Testing services include choosing the right tests, looking at your results, making a plan, and giving feedback to you and your family. We are happy to provide you with a good faith estimate after getting a sense of what your testing needs are.

Our rate for all clinical services are $200-250.00/hour. Assessment price depends upon the protocol length and complexity to achieve accurate diagnoses and feedback. â€‹

We do see approximately 20% of our caseload as pro bono.
